Follow-up visit today

This morning I had my follow-up visit at the doctors office to make sure all is well after the D&C. I really like the midwife I met with because she was not only concerned about my physical well being but also my emotional state. We talked a little bit at first about how everything I'm feeling is normal and she said when I get pregnant again it won't be like this time how I was so excited but I will be more skeptical and probably won't want to share the news with anyone besides my husband for fear of something else going wrong. It was actually nice to hear her say that so I don't think I'm going crazy.

After she did the exam she said everything healed nicely which was good to hear. I had asked if AF will be late this month and she said it can come anywhere from 4-6 weeks so we will see(she suggested that we wait one cycle before we try again). I also asked what are the chances of getting pregnant right away and she asked how long it took us to get pregnant this time and I said it happened the first month we tried and she said that there is no reason why we shouldn't be able to get pregnant as soon as we start trying again.
