Telling my parents

DH and I decided that we couldn't wait to tell our parents especially since I am a big fan of wine and my family would be very suspicious if I wasn't drinking at Thanksgiving dinner!

As soon as we got into town Wednesday I basically blurted it out to my mom who of course started to cry which made me cry too!

My dad and stepmom live only 5 minutes away from my mom so after dinner we went up there to share the news and they were both equally as excited!

We also told my brother (20) but chose to keep it from my sister (9) since we figured she would be too excited to keep the secret for the time being.

On our trip home we planned on stopping at my IL but FIL was working and MIL was sick so they asked if we could meet for dinner next weekend instead. DH and I joked that they will be kicking themselves when they find out the news we wanted to share and they ended up having to wait another week to hear!
